First Grass runner of 2018

Princess Nora will be representing us on Saturday at Doncaster Barry McHugh will ride her. It looks a hot little contest but if your not in you cant win. She is progressing type of filly and will come on for every run.

March of Many Weathers …..

We are really get sick of this weather now enough is enough. The start of this month has two of our mares retire to stud Rial who is off the OZ and Racing Angel who is off to Norfolk . We would like to wish their new connections all the luck in the world and that mares enjoy their new careers.

We were hoping to show our two year olds a bit of grass but looks like thwy will have to wait for the puddles to dry before that can happen. Our girls who have had there first runs have bounced back from them very well and will be back out agin in the next fews weeks. Sir Lancelott has enjoyed a mid season break but now it back to work for him.

March so Far….

So since our last update we have had two runners at Southwell Rial running over 5f which was a little to sharp for her but you never know unless you try. Princess Noora was making her debut over 1m she loved her nearly all of her day at the races, she was very well behaved and looked amazing just didnt like her face gettig dirty in the kick back. We have no doubt she will come on from the experience so we are looking forward to maybe trying her on the turf.

Tomorrow we have an other new comer Callomania running at Newcastle she is a lovely big filly, who has done everything we have asked at home so now to the racecourse to see how she fairs up. Barry McHugh rides and hes has put in a lot of work behind the scenes with this filly.

News Update

Everything is getting exciting now as the 2yr olds are ready to go upsides. They took it all in there strides, with very positive attitudes. Rial also came out of her race very well and the handicapper has given us a bit of a chance with dropping her a few pound.

Looking a head we are hoping to make some entries for our maidens ladies, in the next few days. In there work they have done all the right moves so deserve to go the races.

News from last week

We had a busy week last week with getting our first winner and then he followed it up with a really good second on Wednesday. We also took some of the girls away to gallop all went really well, hopefully by the end of the month we should get them to track(very exciting).

Unfortunately the frost is doing us no favours but with horse box we can still get out and about so we still mannaging to keep the ship sailing.

This was taken at Malton Gallop where Barry McHugh kindly rode Rial and Adrain a filly called Princess Noora. They both worked very well
