This week has been an other busy one with the long awaited arrival of our new horsebox. We were able to take the two year old’s away for some further education. Barry Mchugh was on hand to meet us at the gallop to ride them with Trotter and Mia. We also had Craig Lidster and June come over from Malton to put all our 2 year old’s in the stalls. It was a huge success they all behaved and jumped out individually.
We also had a new arrival this week a 3 year old colt by Night of Thunder (Northern Leader), he has been well educated so hopefully we can build on it and look forward to seeing him progress here at The Ranch
Mia has also been busy this week getting to ride out at Richard Fahey’s in Malton. She is so lucky to have such a successful yard letting her ride out and gain valuable experience from riding different horses with some great jockey’s Tony Hamilton, Paul Hanagan and not forgetting the main man Barry McHugh.
Jack is really after stepping up to mark and took a positive out of a negative with schools been closed. He has thrown himself into work on the yard building his skills and learning about the horses daily. He’s a really assist to our team so we are embracing the schools been closed, home schooling practical style !!! Sometimes there is more to life than books and its all about on the job learning.
