We are looking froward to the season getting up and running The Great Heir was our first runner last Sunday at Doncaster under Barry Mchugh, it was his first run for us, he finished in the middle of the pack and was running on.
So this week the team were on Easter holidays so both Lucy and Ruby were in full force helping us out. It was a very good week for Lucy as she rode her piece of work on Kelly her favorite 2 year old, Trotter was upsides her talking her through the whole thing, she did amazing and were very proud of her.
This week also Mia return back to Ireland to finish her apprentice training at RACE where she is on work placement at Kevin Prendergast yard. Where we have no doubt sh will learn loads and her riding personal development will come on ten fold.
This week also saw the arrival of Falsaron, an owner in the yard bought him from an online auction he came from Joseph O’Brien in Ireland. He is a lovely 3 year old colt who are looking forward to running in the near future.
This coming week see’s the seasonal debut for The Big House, Bear Me In Mind, Thornaby Pearl, Thornaby Flyer Tees Spirit and Five and Dime. It will be nice to see the owners able to go and watch them and most importantly the team are starting the run which is what we have worked hard all winter for. #letthegamesbegin
Sarah who is a keep player has had a well deserved few days off but still managed to sneak in every day to Ride Thornaby Pearl out, she really gets on well with him, and with his imminent run she was leaving no stone unturned!!
