This time of year sees the horses starting to go there winter break. Some horse leave the yard for a change of scenery while others stay with us and go out daily. First to go on holiday was Chewsday and Thornaby Beauty both fillies have had 3 runs this year and have learnt loads from each experience and is now enjoying some valuable chill time. Followed by Kings Crown who has been a true star this season took us to all the big gigs and never let us down, we are looking forward to a fun 3 year old campaign with him.

Abate is also on his winter holidays if Carlsberg did horses they would be Abate runs consistently all year and never lets us down he is a true yard favourite and we look forward to him doing what he does next season, horses like him keep the yard going and we love him dearly for it. He has the most loyalest owner who only ever wants what is best for the horse, he also has Super Spy who is on his holidays now after 3 runs this season, also joining us recently is Crime Fiction she is a lovely big filly and we are looking forward to her wintering with us and see what 2023 brings.

Spirit in my Soul has ran a little in and out this season but she is a filly with a very sassy attitude and we can get her to channel in in the right direction we could have a lot of fun with her next year.

Mo Celita ran a blinder at Ayr to finish a very strong 4th under Barry then followed it up at Longchamp Paris in the Group One with a very game 4th under Jason Hart. She is one tough filly who thrives on racing and soft ground.

Tees Spirit aka Bongo has been a true diamond this season for his owners and the yard he has took us on a journey that none of us will ever forget to start the season at Beverley and finish in a group one in Paris as well as ripping it up at the Curragh, Tipperary, Doncaster, through out the year.

Mia has started her career as a jockey she is apprentice to Eve Johnson -Houghton we had a great day when she had her first ride forth yard at Newcastle on Hurt You Never for Dave Stone, it was very kind of him to allows us to run her in a apprentice race so MIA could ride her, they finished 3rd in the the first occasion and has since rode her in jockeys race and finished 4th.

Burj Malinka, Thornaby Pearl, No Guts No Glory, Pepper Streak still have a few runs left in them season before they go on there holidays so in our eyes the season is not over yet and we have a few darts to throw at the board.

We have a very exciting team of 2 year old’s to go to war with they are away been broken in at the moment but as soon as 2023 hits they will join us at the Ranch and we will look forward to updating you on there progress and development.
