We have had a great couple of days at Haydock firstly on Friday with Mamba Wamba running in a listed race. It was a massive team effort to get her to the races in top form, after her run at Newmarket with was below par. When she cam home Peter Hynes and his team has been on hand to get to the bottom of her tying up. Angie from Baileys horse feed was on hand for advice on what feed might help she was already being fed on Ease and Excel so it was just a case of what else could we do. Marike also treated her and was able to get in tune with her. Not forgetting Scooby who has now become her full time field buddy. So all in all it was all hands on deck but it all paid off. Tony gave her a great ride finishing an unlucky 3rd maybe with a clear passage she would of been a very good second.
Saturday was the turn of Mo Celita and Laura they took their turn in a handicap for the first time and they may it very clear that the girls are still on fire. They have got a lovely partnership and in the words of the trainer just do what they do!!! She is real credit to the yard and has brought connections loads of joy, and we are extremely happy that Laura has been part of the journey, she is a lovely neat rider who does what she is told, keep it simple and they are good enough she is.
