Tees Spirit was an impressive winner on his first start this season at Beverley under a beautiful front running ride from Barry McHugh on 21/04. Then 16 days later under an other well time front running ride from Connor Murtagh wins at Nottingham. He is such a fun consistent horse who looks to be enjoying the winners circle so long may it continue
Kings Crown was our second 2 year old runner his first start was at Thirsk where he was a good second and followed that up 2 weeks later a nice 3rd at Ripon on a track that didn’t really play to his strengthens. He now heads to York on Wednesday 11 May where hopefully the flat galloping track will play to his strengths using his lovely big stride. Barry will be riding as he has done on all his starts #teamwork
Burj Malinka has got his head infront for his wonderful owners Dubelem Racing and Partners. He had to battle hard and stick his nose out but his did it under a very strong ride from Connor Murtagh. We will look forward to some fun days with him.
Pepper Streak ran a very strong second at Nottingham and looked to come up against an impressive improving horse of Kevin Ryan’s. She ran again and ran below par on ground which she didn’t like. The opening meeting at Doncaster saw Mo Celita make her seasonal reappearance the ground condition where not in her favor but most importantly she came home safe and sound and we will wait for soft ground before we race again. Mascapone ran a solid 4th in the first 2 year old race of the year under a lovely ride from Barry Mchugh, since this race he has been sold and gone to David Simcocks, we wish him and his new connections lots of luck
This month we also got 2 new fillies from the breeze ups at Goffs UK. First one being a Holy Roman Emperor Filly out of Tasha Dream (lot112) who our loyal owner Mr Dave Stone kindly purchased her. The second filly is by Camacho out of AAlia(lot 129) she is going to be part of our new syndicate “Champagne and Dreams” there are limited shares available in her but please do get in touch if your interested. The filly is still to be named so all members will get to put there name forward and be part of the whole journey, which will be very exciting.
