Weekly update

We have had a very busy week taking the majority of the yard to Malton Gallops in preparation for the start of the up coming season. We used the 6f All Weather gallop which has a very fair surface, the facilities there are second to none. The lay out is very horse friendly a lovely trotting ring which is large enough to accommodate a large number of horses, they have a nice walk to the entrance to the gallop which is ideal as it prevents horses from getting buzzed up. Finally they can either walk home which is a lovely cool down or alternatively can walk around the top of the gallop and they can be collected from the top as there is space to take the horse box up.

We also galloped a few at home after we got a dusting of rain, over all the team are doing really well and bursting for the season to start. Our owners have been very patient and loyal during these uncertain times which make sour job much easier, here is hoping that the horses will now repay us all.
